All of the links near the top of this page are kit car websites. Most of them are parts suppliers or just great sites! Stupid links to other websites can be found at the bottom of the page...

These links are my favourite ones and the ones I use all of the time. Many of them have links off to many other websites, all offering different services. Take a look around, there is a wealth of Locost knowledge out there you just have to find it!

All links open in a new page.

Community and Information:
Locost Builders Forum: THE Locost website, a resource for builders and those contemplating a build, and is good place to meet fellow enthusiasts, or while away time when you should be doing something else!

Locost 7.info: A great builder’s resource, this is more general than and not quite as informative as the site above, but hosts a lot of useful files.

Jim McSorley's Site: CAD Drawings and the like. This is a great website; he is actually using an RX7 donor if I remember correctly. The site has drawings for the space frame chassis along with other very useful hints and tips.

Rorty Design: Designer of the IRS and De Dion plans as hosted here.

Suppliers:
GTS Tuning: THE only place that stocks correct size shocks for the book car, and he also offers all the other bits, body work to chassis, the lot!! Very reasonably priced, and everyone says the quality of the parts is second to none, from what I have seen this is certainly the case. I will be doing a lot of business with Darren at GTS!

MNR: Marc Nordon Racing. A relatively new name in the Locost scene. But he already has many satisfied customers! I have had a few bits from him, and have had nothing but excellent service.

MK Sportscars: This company provides whole cars or kits of the Locost. Their stuff is also of excellent quality.

MK Engineering: Now split from MK Sportscars, Martin is concentrating on some new interesting projects!

Luego Sports cars : Another company with a great reputation. Some of the cars are made with V8 muscle!!!!

Colibriman Engines: Supplier of bike and car engines and accessories too. All you need to do a bike engine install in your car.

Dogcamsport: Specialist suppliers of bullet cameras designed for track and road filiming. Top notch stuff!

3GE Components: A company specialising in supplying parts for the new Haynes Roadster. Lots of snazzy laser cut parts to save you some time too!

Extra EFI: Authorised UK distributor for the Megasquirt range of fuel injection systems.

BGH Geartech: Gearbox and gearkit supplier. They make the sequential 6 speed boxes for Caterham amongst supplying Type9 and Rocket box bits too

Builders Pages:-
Morgan Locost: This is Steve Gustersons website, he is building a V6 Morgan look-a-like Locost...like I say, anything is possible!

Hellfire: One of the finest examples of an MK car built I reckon…

Dave Ashursts Locost: Daves car is a great example of a true to the book Locost. I was lucky enough to take a ride in his car, and it got me even more hooked on the Locost!

Rog B's MNR VortX R1 Build Diary: Online build diary of an MNR VortX, with Yamaha R1 power this car should be awsome when its finished.

GMP Motorsport: Deatils of a 750MC race championship car. Tracking its progress throughout the season.

David Jenkins Lathyrus 7: A very useful and informative site, a great looking car, and some very useful build tips too!
