September 2008 sees a new car!

A good friend was selling his 2003 Mini Cooper S (the supercharged one), and I couldn't really say no.

Not that practical, and a bit fashionable for me, however they dont win best hot hatch award every year without good reason. The handling is superb, and they are pretty quick too.

The basics:

1.6 litre Supercharged (0.8bar boost) 4 cylinder engine, 163bhp
Six speed gearbox
Electric blue, white roof and mirror caps
Chilli Pack - 17" S - spoke wheels, climate control, CD changer, front fog lights, half leather interior, sports seats, xenon headlights, roof spoiler.

Took nearly a week to get it nice and clean and shiny, but the effort has paid off no end!
