Maxi Balljoints

These are the bottom balljoints that fit into my wishbones. I got them as a bit of a bargain from EBay at £20 for a pair (Buy It Now). There aren't many places that sell them that cheap! The seller was Marc N from MNR racing. (See links). (PS ignore the messy desk, like I said its the middle of exam season!!)

Recon M16 Callipers

These were found on EBay, described as Mk2 Escort callipers. However they are identical to the Cortina ones. I.e. they are M16 callipers. The auction had only been running a couple of hours when I stumbled across them, and luckily they had a Buy It Now option. 2 brand new recon callipers, a set of standard pads, fitting kit, solid pipes, and some splash sheilds. I dont require the pads, so will probably sell those to get some money back. How much for the pair? Well a bargain at £35 for the set! Painted black as well (saves me some time) to match my 'colour' (should that be lack of colour?) scheme.

 

Whats next?

Off home at the end of this month. With literally no internet access at home, updates could be thin on the ground! I do have a full time job over the summer. It should allow me to invest in some more bits and pieces with a bit of luck, I do need to save some cash as well though! I plan on at least getting the rear suspension (trailing arms, panhard rod and de dion tube) and a set of poly bushes. I also need the camber adjusters to fit into the top wishbones. That's around £300 worth, so I will have to see how the cash flow pans out.
