Carburettor
I managed to get hold of a DGMS carburettor as fitted to the Escort RS2000 (amongst others) and very happy I am too, as it only cost me £40 + £5 postage. Theres some pics below of how it was when it turned up. It wasnt very mucky at all, and was in very good condition. The K&N had got a knock in the post, but it straightened out OK.

Since I received it I have cleaned it all up and blown it out with an airline (there are a few pics in the gallery). Its just waiting for a new power valve (Weber are out of stock) then it can go back together with the service kit etc ready to bolt onto the engine.

Update: Carb is all cleaned up and ready to bolt to the engine now. There are a couple of pictures below.

Got one of these at last and at a discounted price due to the guy stopping his build due to planning on emigrating. £110 delivered, instead of £150+delivery sounded good to me. Its still like brand new, it just has some light surface rust. There are some pics below, you can see more in the gallery. It will be primed and painted with Chassis Black paint.
